Greenwood, SC – Eaton presented $2,500 to the Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) Foundation to support the Center’s GGC Cares Fund.

The GGC Cares Fund provides financial support for uninsured or underinsured families who need genetic services, testing, and treatment.

“At GGC, our goal is to provide compassionate care, state-of-the-art genetic testing, and the latest treatments for all patients impacted by a genetic disorder,” said Cady Nell Keener, Executive Director of the GGC Foundation. “This gift from Eaton for the GGC Cares Fund will help us make sure that the highest quality care remains available for all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.”

“At Eaton, we are committed to making our communities stronger and healthier,” said Simon Graham, Plant Manager, PRD, at Eaton Corporation in Greenwood. “We are grateful for the work of the Greenwood Genetic Center and are pleased that we can help alleviate some of the financial burden for families who need their services.”

“We are grateful to Eaton for this investment in the well-being of the patients and families we serve,” said Steve Skinner, MD, Director of GGC. “This gift will help provide more peace of mind for families and allow them to focus on what’s most important – the health and care of their child.”
