Families Supporting Families

Meet Our GGC Families

The patients and families of the Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) are sharing their stories hoping to encourage and support other families on similar journeys. If you have been positively impacted by GGC, please consider supporting other families by sharing your story, honoring your caregiver, or hosting a fundraiser. Sharing your experiences plays a vital role in advancing answers for tomorrow’s patients.

Become a Grateful Family

The Grateful Family Program gives patients and their loved ones a meaningful way to express gratitude for the care and support they’ve received while at the Greenwood Genetic Center. Help raise awareness, support others on similar journeys, and ensure more families receive the answers and hope they need during life’s most uncertain moments.

Have you or a family member had a “Giving Greater Care” experience? Sharing your story can help bring awareness to the GGC and encourage others to may be dealing with similar circumstances. There are opportunities to share your story here on the website, in GGC publications, on social media, and through video.

If you’re willing to share your family’s story, email Lori Bassett, MS, CGC, Director of Communications.

Patients and their families have the opportunity to honor those who compassionately cared for them. Any GGC team member who’s made a difference in your care can be recognized with a gift in their honor.

  1. Complete the secure online form (or print and mail this PDF version) to make your donation.
  2. Once we receive the gift we’ll send a card of appreciation to the healthcare professional(s) you’ve recognized. The amount of the gift won’t be disclosed and you can remain anonymous if you’d like.
  3. We’ll list the names of the caregiver on our Caregiver Honor Roll.
  4. Caregivers will receive an “I’m Honored!” lapel pin!

Share your experience at GGC and increase awareness by starting your own Facebook Fundraiser.
