Annese, Fran

Fran Annese is a South Carolina state-licensed social worker who joined the Greenwood Genetic Center as the clinic coordinator in 1999.  She is currently the Greenwood Office Clinic Manager where she assists the director of clinical genetic services and the clinical operations manager with the daily clinical operations of the Greenwood office.  Fran supervises staff in Greenwood and provides support for GGC satellite offices.  Her social work skills enable her to act as a starting point for families receiving new genetic diagnoses and to provide assistance to families.

Fran also participates in the coordination of clinical research studies for individuals with rare disorders focusing on Rett, Angelman, and Fragile X syndromes.  In 2013, she received her clinical research coordination certificate.  Fran is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
