Grappone, Mitzi

Mitzi Grappone is a registered dietitian with the Greenwood Genetic Center’s metabolic treatment team. She joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2015 from the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control where she worked for 14 years as a nutritionist and the Nutrition and WIC Director for the Upstate Region. Mitzi has over 15 years experience providing nutrition services in clinical and community settings. She currently works in GGC’s Columbia office providing medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessment and follow-up for individuals with inborn errors of metabolism. She also provides follow-up and coordination of nutrition services for individuals with inborn errors of metabolism between clinic visits.

Mitzi is a member of the South Carolina Public Health Association, were she has held many offices.
