GGC to offer first Junior Scholars Camp for rising 10th-12 graders

Our first Summer Junior Scholars Camp will be held at GGC July 10-14. This fun and engaging camp will include lots of hands-on activities and topics such as PCR amplification, DNA extraction and career exploration.

Summer Teachers Course Going Online!

The very popular Summer Teachers Course is transitioning to an online hybrid course with online lectures
and a hands-on interactive two day workshop. This year we are offering BIO 612 – Survey Course in Human Genetics.

A Rare Beauty

The lobby of the JC Self Research Institute at GGC was transformed into a garden – of sorts. The art exhibit titled ‘Rare Roses’ consisted of 12 paintings that depict real roses with genetic variations. The series was created by Nicole Shannon, an artist from Greenville.
