GGC's Dr. David Everman Named Health Care Hero

David Everman, MD, Associate Clinical Geneticist in the Greenville office of the Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) has been named by GSA Business Journal as their 2014 Physician Healthcare Hero.

GSA Business annually recognizes individuals and organizations with a passion for healthcare and compassion for patients.

Everman was nominated by his colleagues and patients for his dedication and commitment to families impacted by a wide range of genetic disorders. “Above-and-beyond is his normal,” shared genetic counselor, Gail Stapleton. “Patients love him because they feel he spends more time with them than any other doctor, and that he really listens to their concerns.”

In addition to his very busy clinic schedule, Dr. Everman heads the GGC Treatment Task Force, serves as the Medical Director of the USC School of Medicine’s Genetic Counseling Program, and is active in research on split-hand/split-foot malformation.

Dr. Everman was recognized at an awards dinner in Greenville on May 8th and will be profiled in the June 2 issue of GSA Business.
