Amy joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 1997. She provides genetic service coordination for the Midlands South region of the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. The counties in this region include Richland, Lexington, Aiken, Newberry, Fairfield, and Calhoun.

Amy is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. She is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the American Society of Human Genetics.
