Genetic Assistant

Karsyn joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2023 as a Genetic Assistant in the Columbia office. Her roles include obtaining insurance authorizations, gathering family and medical history, patient scheduling and check-in, recording vital signs, and assisting throughout patient visits. Karsyn is also involved in eVisits at GGC to improve patient access to genetic services.

Meet Ella

We will remember February 26th for the rest of our lives. On that day, we received the call from the Greenwood Genetic Center that they had discovered our daughter, Ella Marie, has Kleefstra syndrome.
